RamHack 2026 is Fordham University’s first intercampus hackathon, bringing together students from both Lincoln Center and Rose Hill for a weekend of building, learning, and collaboration.
This event was created to break down barriers between campuses, majors, and experience levels. Whether you’re a Computer Science student, a designer, a business major, or someone completely new to tech, RamHack is designed for you.
Over the course of March 28–29 at Lincoln Center, participants will:

Form teams and collaborate across disciplines

Build innovative projects in a supportive environment

Attend workshops led by industry professionals

Receive mentorship from experienced engineers and leaders
We’re proud to host mentors, judges, and speakers from organizations including JPMorgan, Google, PhotoShelter, Cohen & Steers and Curvance, who will support participants throughout the event.
Requirements
To be eligible for judging and prizes, all participants must:

Build a project during the hackathon timeframe (March 28–29)

Submit their project on Devpost before the submission deadline

Include:

Project name and description

Clear explanation of the problem and solution

Technologies used

Track Applicable

A demo (video or live demo link)

Participants must also:

Be part of a team (teams can be formed during the event)

Present their project on Day 2
⚠️ Projects must be original and created during the hackathon. Pre-existing projects are not allowed.

Technical Implementation (25%)
How well was the project built? Is the technology used effectively? Does the project demonstrate effort and technical understanding relative to the team’s experience level? -
Innovation & Creativity (25%)
How original is the idea? Does the project approach the problem in a unique or creative way? Is there a clear vision behind the solution? -
Impact & Relevance (20%)
Does the project solve a meaningful problem? Is it aligned with real-world needs or “Tech for Good” principles? Could this idea have real-world applications? -
Presentation & Demo (15%)
How clearly is the project explained? Is the demo functional and easy to understand? Does the team effectively communicate their idea and process? -
Participation & Engagement (15%)
Engagement throughout the hackathon (workshops, activities, collaboration) Contribution to the community and team effort Participation in the Workshop Bingo System, where attending workshops earns points toward your final score
